Eva Perón

Eva Perón nee Duarte, was beloved by the people of Argentina, although not by the upper class.

Peronism, referencing Eva, was about the alliance of the classes and allowing owners to keep owning but for workers to gain rights.

There  is a Museo Evita in the Recoleta neighborhood which is closed on Mondays. This is a fact I unfortunately found out after my Recoleta tour. So please remember this fact for the next time you are in Buenos Aires as this was the thing I was most looking forward to but I failed to pay attention to the guide book and double check the days it’s open.

As a result of this misfortune this post is rather short as I barely scratched the surface of who this woman was and wanted to know more.
